GV II
Public house. Early C16 to left hand side, early C17 to right hand side. A single range in 2 sections. Timber framed and plastered, the right hand section with a C19 red brick gable end; pantiled roof. 2 storeys with attic to right hand section. 3-light casement windows, mainly C19; C20 half-glazed doors to each section, the doorway to the earlier part with a simple gabled porch. 2 internal stacks. The later section has moulded floor beams on the ground and first floors, newel stairs (the attic stairs are original) and a good exposed roof structure; there are 2 good 4-centre arched brick fireplaces and some good original doors; one original arched doorway on first floor of older section.
