Bridge, Probably partly late medieval and dated 1685. Coursed squared limestone
rubble and ashlar. Main part has 2 arches separated by triangular cutwaters with
refuges. North arch is 3 centred; south is 4 centred with stepped buttresses to
south. Further south still is a smaller 3-centred arch. Stone parapets have
triangular copings, and eastern refuge contains 2 adjacent stones inscribed
"1685/HERE ENDS/ THE COVNTY OF/ OXON" and "HERE/ BEgINETH/THE COUNTY/ OF
Bucks/1685". Other parts of the bridge lie within the parishes of
Tiddington-with-Albury, Oxon, and Ickford, bucks.
