House; originally mill house with post mill nearby. Early C19 with stucco
lined as ashlar. Slate roof. Red brick stacks with moulded caps. 2 storeys.
3 window range: sashes in flush frames with glazing bars. Prostyle portico
with fluted Doric columns, entablature with triglyphs, metopes and modillion
cornice; entrance doorway has fluted Doric pilasters and 6 panelled door, the
two upper panels glazed. Only the walls of the round house of the mill remain
and this is not included as of special interest.
