House. Late C17. Uncoursed sarsen rubble, chalk dressings; stone slate roof;
brick stacks. 2-unit lobby entry plan. 2-storey, 3-window range. Central
6-panelled early C19 door with bracketed flat hood; square hood moulds over
windows, late C19 3-light casements replaceing 3-light stone mullioned windows.
Gabled roof; Ridge and one end stack. Late C19 stone plaque over door depicts a
hound jumping over a daisy, dating from when the house was the Daisy Trip Inn.
