Wrongly shown on O.S. map as Lodge.
Archway entrance over former approach to Wardour from the south.
Early C19. Dressed limestone. Round-arched gateway, moulded and
rebated with Arundell crest over, hollow-chamfered pediment over,
buttress either side of arch. South side has Arundell heraldic
arms relief-carved over arch. Attached walls with stepped coping
to west side, to east side are foundations of demolished lodge.
Cast-iron double gates. Rutter describes this as newly built in
1822.
