Includes Nos. 1 to 7 (odd) Pool Bank. Terrace of 10 houses. c.1899. By William and Segar Owen. Brick with stone dressings, pebbledash 1st floor with some tile-hanging, tile roof. 2 storeys, 8 bays, canted corner bay and 5 bays to Pool Bank. 1st bay projects by one bay under gable, 2nd and 5th bays project under gables. 6th bay has projection under lean-to roof. Drip mould over ground floor, 2nd and 5th bays have tile-hung 1st floors. Ground floor windows have gauged-brick flat arches and small-paned casements. 1st floor windows similar, that to 1st bay a canted oriel below jettied gable, 3rd and 4th bays have continuous canted oriel over separate canted bases. 6th bay has half-canted flat- topped half dormer. Entrances have gauged-brick flat arches and plank doors. Left return has projecting lateral stack and half-canted bay window with stone mullions and cornice with lead-clad ogival roof, oriel above. Corner bay has stone dressings, band over ground floor, 1st floor quoins and coped gable, canted angles to ground floor have elaborately moulded stops. 4-light double-chamfered mullioned window with king mullion and leaded lights, similar lights in angles. 1st floor 5-light window as ground floor, elliptical headed lights and dripmould. Pool Bank facade similar, end 2 bays project under gables with central lateral stack. 1st floor canted oriels, those flanking stacks are half-canted 5 cross-axial stacks and lateral stack to left of corner bay.
