BATLEY Front boundary wall and railings,gatepiers and gates to cemetery

Wall,gatepiers and gates.Circa 1866 probably by Walter Hanstock.Two large and four small piers in entrance group to cemetery.Pitched faced stone with ashlar quoins and dressings.Large piers are buttressed,with offsets and gables,and have foliated finials.Decorations include chamfers and trefoils.Boundary wall has raised piers with ashlar copings.Iron railings and gates with quatrefoils and fleur-de-lys heads to rails.
