House, at some time two cottages, now semi-detached. C17 core, largely recased and extended in the late C18. Dressed limestone, tiled roof with half hip to right, brick stacks. Gable end to road. Small 2-cell C17 house extended to left in C18. Two storeys and attic, three bays. Modern gabled porch to half glazed door with two 2-light casements to left and one 2-light casement to right in blocked doorway. First floor has three 2-light casements. Right return to road has C19 square bay with casements (once shop) to ground floor and 2-light to first floor with single light casement to attic. There are indications in the stone that the half gable is a C19 alteration. Rear has lean-to garage extension, C20 lean-to extension with pantiled roof and steel casements, brick stack in lateral position in rear wall. These features are not of special interest. Interior: Ground floor has two chamfered beams and a bressummer all with lambs tongue stops on the ground floor. Fairly slight chamfered beams with run out stops on the first floor. Principal rafter roof with 2 trusses, halved and pegged at apex, trenched purlins, no ridge piece. Evidence of piecing in for extensions at both ends and C19 structure of half hip.
