1. 1781 BRIDGE END (North Side)
Nos 16 to 28 (even) (formerly listed as Nos 4, 10, 14, 16, 20, 22, 24) SP 2864 NE 2/409 10.1.53.

2. Picturesque terrace of 2 storey cottages which are considered to be of C17 origin. Nos 18, 20 and 22 have practically continuous square timber framing with infilling of colour-washed brickwork, but the greater part of No 16 has been rebuilt in C18 brickwork. They have simple C18 casements, some with leaded lights, and plain boarded doors. No 16 a 2 storey plus attic cottage at right hand end, is of (probably) C18 brickwork with camberheaded casements on lower storey, part stone plinth, modern gabled porch and weathered machine tile roof. Remainder have continuous roof of old tiles Nos 26 and 28 are of C18 brickwork with camberheaded casements and gabled dormers; No 28 has plinth, quoins and wall on south end of sandstone blocks with timber-framed gable head over. Modern porch to No 20, gabled C19 porch to No 24. No 22 has 3 gabled half dormers.
Nos 16 to 28 (even) form a group.
