SOWERBY BRIDGE GREYSTONES ROAD TO SE 0424 and SE 0524 LUDDENDEN FOOT ROAD 9/74 (east side, off) Ludenden Foot Lower Oldfield and attached barn - - II Farmhouse and attached barn, now partly accommodation. Late C18. Coursed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with barn projecting at left end. Tooled quoins. House: door with tooled surround between bays 1 and 2 in pent porch. Three 5-light flat-faced mullion windows to each floor. Shaped kneeler and coping to right. Stacks to left end and between bays 2 and 3. Barn on left: right return has cart-entry with tooled quoins, voussoirs and raised keystone; blocked mistal door with tie-stones to left end. 1st floor now converted to accommodation with windows inserted on all sides c.1980 (in keeping). Accommodation range added to left of barn not of special interest. Right return (house): blocked door on right with taking-in door above.
