PITTON AND FARLEY CHURCH ROAD, Farley SU 22 SW (south side) 10/123 North and west walls to Fox's Hospital 23.3.60 GV II
Wall and gatepiers defining front garden of Almshouses against road, and return on west side. Late C17. Brick with stone copings. Irregular polygonal plan with central gatepiers facing Church of All Saints (q.v.). Flemish garden wall bond, approx 1.2m high with weathered copings have central raised band, swept up to rebuilt gate piers, 60cm, with moulded stone cornices, stops and ball finials. Total length approx 77m, meeting on west the side wall of Almshouses garden, 2m high, with sloping brick and triple brick copings, approx 33m long terminating in coachhouse-stable at south end.
