Gothic Revival Church. 1850-51. By John Dobson of Leeds. Hammer dressed stone with ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof. North west tower, 4-bay nave with lean-to buttressed aisles but no clerestory. 2-bay chancel, south trancept and south porch. Aisle windows are 3-light with curvilinear tracery. 5-light east window and 4-light west window both with curvilinear tracery and with 4 quatrefoils in head. 3-tier west tower with diagonal buttressing. Round clock face to 3 sides. Large 3-light louvred and traceried openings to bell chamber. Openwork parapet and tall crocketted pinnacles on corbel brackets of figure heads and beasts. Gargoyles.

Interior: 6-bay arcade of double chamfered arches on octagonal piers. Moulded chancel arch on clustered piers with capitals of carved angels. Carved stone reredos with crocketted heads and pinnacles with crests. Carved stone font. Arched braced roof trusses.
