Mid to late C19. 2 storeys. Ashlar. Pantiled roof. Pantiled roof. Dentilled eaves
cornice. Parapets on gable-ends with moulded kneelers. Stringcourse.
4 windows on first floor. Semi-circular heads with projecting surrounds,
elaborate Corinthian capitals, and keystones. The keystones have 4 finely
carved faces identified as HYGEIA, AESCULAPIUS, GALEN and MINERVA. Ground-floor
openings are similarly treated except that 2 doorways replace two of the
windows, the doorway to right having a segmental head over large double
doors. Keystones are here identified as SATYR, BACCHUS, ARIADNE and SILENIUS.
Projecting plinth. This property continues to the right downhill with
a 2-storey, 3-window extension of lower elevation. Ashlar, pantiled roof.
Plain eaves cornice, and moulded stringcourse dividing the storeys. Banded
rustication on plinth and on 4 pilasters rising to first floor stringcourse.
Above this, are paired flat pilasters dividing first floor into 3 sections.
3 round-headed windows with moulded arches, foliated keystones and sashes.
3 four-centred windows on ground-floor with foliated keystones.

Nos 18 to 24 (consec) form a group.
