2. Mid-late C19 replica extension of Nos 40 and 40A, probably incorporating older fabric. Two and a half storeys red brick with rubbed brick flat arches to 4 glazing bar sash windows on first floor. Two gabled dormers. Early C20 projecting shop front. Bold modillion cornice to high slate roof. Altered.
