Details
NORTH AVENUE 1. 5304 White House SK 60 SW 18/310 II 2. 1897. Designed by Ernest Gimson for Arthur Gimson. Whitewashed brick. Slate roof with gabled ends. Red brick chimney stacks. L-shaped on plan. Two storeys and attic, Segmental headed windows, casements with glazing bars. Windowless splayed end wall with chimney is the most interesting external feature. Moulded lead rainwater drain-pipes and gutters on curved wrought iron brackets. Flat-roofed dormers. Garden elevation gabled to right with chimney at side, two, two-storey splayed bays with moulded plasterwork with date 1897 and initials A.J.G.
