4/34 Fairbourne Manor GV II

House. First half C17, with early and mid C20 additions. Probably timber-framed core. Garden front: coursed stone with brick dressings and plain tile roof. Lobby entry, 4 bays at right angles to road. 2 storeys. Roof hipped to left and abuts C20 wing to right. Multiple brick ridge stack to centre. Large stack with stone base and English bond above, within left gable end. Irregular fenestration of 4 windows; 4-light and one 5-light leaded casements and one 2-storey C20 leaded stair window to right. Ribbed door beneath stack. Wing to right probably circa 1910 with higher ridge, and hip forming part of slope of front range, part merged with short wing of circa 1945 projecting towards garden. Entrance front: circa 1910. 2 storeys, with basement to right, forming double depth plan with C17 range. 5 small and one larger gable. Various windows. Boarded door under flat corniced hood to left of C17 range. Interior: chamfered beams. Clasped purlin roof with short curved wind braces.
