MANCETTER THE GREEN SP3296 (West side) 11/110 Right forecourt wall, gatepier 25/03/68 and garden pavilion at Mancetter Manor (Formerly listed as Forecourt wall at Mancetter Manor-house with gatepiers and gazebos) GV II Forecourt wall, gatepier and garden pavilion. Early C18. Rendered wall has stone coping and is approximately 2 metres high. Sandstone ashlar gatepier has stone cornice and ball finial and is approximately 2.5 metres high. Pavilion has moulded cornice and old plain-tile ogee pyramidal roof. Square plan. One bay. Sash window has painted stone on rendered keyed lintel. Fielded 6-panelled door with overlight, and steps, to garden. Interior not inspected. (Buildings of England: Warwickshire: p347; VCH: Warwickshire: Vol IV, p119)
