Terrace of 15 houses. 1913. By J. Lomax Simpson. Brick base to sill level, brick with weather-board 1st floor, timber- framed returns and roughcast wings, stone slate hipped roofs. 2 storeys, 11-bay centre with jettied 1st floor with central 3 bays breaking forward, the central bay breaking further forward, all gabled. 3-bay returns the inner bays projecting under gables. 5-bay wings, the inner bays breaking forward under jettied gables. 3-bay centre has roughcast 1st floor and weather-boarded gables, inner bays of wings timber-framed, except for ground floor of that to left. Wings have drip mould on brackets. Windows have leaded casements, some with diamond, some with rectangular quarries, mostly of 4 lights. 3 central bays have4-light canted oriels to 1st floor. Entrances have 2-panel doors with leaded lights, wings with flat canopies and returns with lean-to porches. 11 cross-axial stacks and 2 in roof pitch of wings; 2 lateral stacks to returns. Rear similar, roughcast 1st floor.
