House. Dated 'ISS 1672'. Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. Two storeys with partial basement, two first floor windows, originally continued further to left. Basement, on right, has quoins to right and two chamfered quoined openings, that on left with later mullion and windows, that on right with board door. Plinth.
Ground floor: on left, two steps up to boarded door in quoined, stop-chamfered moulded, ogee-arched doorway with dated lintel. To its right two double-chamfered windows, formerly cross-windows. Moulded band. First floor: two shorter similar windows with sixteen-pane sashes. End stack to right. Rear: on first floor two similar windows with sashes with glazing bars.
This was the last meeting place of the Quaker Community in Sowerby Bridge
