2. Substantial five-bay early C19 house of three storeys. Stock brick with mutuled cornice and open pediment holding oval plaque inscribed "Marlborough House". Gauged flat brick arches to modern plate glass windows. Ground floor covered by modern shops. Architect Michael Searles.
