GV II
Terrace of 2 houses with attached outbuildings. Late C18-early C19. Ashlar magnesian limestone, Welsh and stone slate roofs. 2 storeys; 6 bays; parallel range to rear of No 226 on left, range of outbuildings attached to rear of No 224 on right. No 224: 6-panel door and fanlight with radial glazing bars in ashlar surround with imposts, archivolt and keystone; above the door a sash with glazing bars having projecting stone sill and flat arch. To right of door is a 2-storey, canted, bay-window with continuous sills to sashes with glazing bars beneath lintels tooled as voussoirs. Moulded iron guttering; stone slate roof. No 226 is similar but is handed and has an extra bay to each side lit by sashes with glazing bars in flush wooden architraves beneath flat arches. Matching gutter to Welsh-slated roof having rendered external end stack on left. Rear: outbuildings to No 224 have external stone steps and 2 projecting gables.
