2. Circa 1815, two-storey row of sandstone "brick" cottages. First floor sill band. Nos 238 and 240 stepped slightly higher. Block brackets to eaves of stone slate roof. Stone chimneys. Two light flush framed, square mullion windows to both floors and single light over plain doorways.
