House. C16; right bay and former attached farmbuiiding to left added and refaced C18. Three dormer inserted late C19/C20).Farmbuilding converted and other dormers inserted late C20. Timber-framed with one pair of crucks and brick infill on regular coursed sandstone plinth; additions and front refaced in Flemish bond brick Plain-tile roof; old brick right end and large ridge stacks. Originally 3-unit baffle-entry plan, now L-plan with wing on right to rear, One storey and attic; 5-window range. Front has high plinth due to the sloping site. Porch has C18 brick and stone steps and low wall parallel to front, but posts and gabled roof are mid C20). Ribbed door inside. Ground flour has irregular fenestration of 2- and 3-light Cl9 and C20 casements with horizontal glazing bars; most openings have brick segmental arches. Small raked dormers have casements of 3 lights, and 4 lights to first bay, with horizontal glazing bar. Left return side has a mid C20 timber open porch with pitched roof, and plank door. Rear has some exposed framing. Mid C20 dormers. Interior has 2 back-to-back open fireplaces with chamfered bressumers; that in the room to the left of the entrance has been converted to a cupboard. The other has a cupboard with a fielded panel door. Exposed stud and framed partitions and run-out chamfered beams. Right bay has ogee-stop-chaafered beam. Straight flight stairs. Exposed pair of crucks. Some wattle and daub infill. Queen strut roof.
