House, formerly 2 cottages. Late C17, with late C18 range attached to left. Squared coursed ironstone with quoins. Thatch and slate roof with brick ridge and end stacks, that to right with original stone base and cornice. Formerly 2 cottages of 2-unit plan. One storey plus attic; 3-window range. Late C18 range to left of 2 storeys; 2-window range. To right of C17 range a plank door with wood lintel. Above, an oval shaped light. To left, centre and right a 3-light wood casement, that to right with wood lintel, that to left and centre with hood mould and label stops. Lead Britannia firemark below. C18 range has plank door and 3-light casements to all openings. Door and ground floor casement has lintel with keybocks. C19 brick range to right has wood casement.
Interior: C17 range has chamfered beams with broach stops. Open fireplace has bressumer with stepped stops; brick lined oven to right. Late C18 range has chamfered beams with run-out stops.
