Anglican parish church. 1853, by Henry Woodyer. Square coursed stone, plain tiled
roof with coped verges and terminal crosses. Nave, south porch, south east bell
turret with 3 bells, chancel, vestry and organ loft, north aisle. Generally in
C14 Decorated style; west end 2-light over central buttress, steep pointed openings
to outer and inner porch to simple plank door, 2 + 3-light to nave and small single
light to pulpit area, 2-light to south chancel and 3-light to east, 2-light to
vestry also haunched opening to north door, 4 single lights to north aisle.
Interior: 4-bay nave, wave and chamfer arcade, strutted collar roof, segmental
pointed chancel arch; 2-bay unequal-span opening to vestry from chancel, central
support 2 small colonnettes. Chancel roof similar to nave, has double sedilia in
cusped early English form and has carved panels flanking the altar, incorporating
war memorial. Octagonal font with raised sharp-cut lettering: FAITH, REPENTANCE,
SALVATION, REMISSION on four faces.
