MARKET STREET 1. 5227 (north-west side) Premises of Winterbotham, Ball and Gadsen, Solicitors and the Stroud Building Society. (formerly listed as The Clothiers Arms) ST 8499 6/43 30.5.51 II 2. Early C19. Ashlar with plat band, first floor cill band. Hipped slate roof. Three storeys. Three windows, glazing bar sashes, on ground floor to right a modern building society shop front with glazing bars. Central doors with battered Tuscan pilasters and pediment. Crowning cornice and blocking course. Interior altered.
