Statue. Early C18. Limestone. Figure of a bearded man with a chalice representing "Winter". Moulded ironstone plinth. Part of a group of statues of "The Seasons" with a central figure of "Atlas" (q.v.) noted as having belonged to a formal garden layout of c.1700 at the Manor House (q.v.). (C. Hussey, Ashby St. Ledgers Manor House, Country Life, August 1951, p.496).
