TL 6222 GREAT DUNMOW THE DOWNS 7/32 Buildings Farmhouse II
Farmhouse, early C19, timber framed and plastered with slate hipped roof. Of 2 storeys and square 'double pile' plan form with red brick stacks on outer walls. Front has 3 double hung sashes with small panes and moulded surrounds, on first floor with central pilastered and flat hooded doorcase, with diamond motif in entablature, and fanlight with pattern of eclipse, sphere, triangle and circle. Flight of stone steps. Either side are semi-circular bay windows with curved double hung sashes with small panes and flat leaded roofs.
