House, now shops and offices. Late C18 front to C17 core. Brick; composite tile roof; reduced brick end stack. 3 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: tripartite 1/1: 2/2: 1/1 sashes, under gauged brick segmental arches; similar smaller sashes, over; brick modillion eaves. Central entrance: part-glazed panelled door and swagged fanlight, in round-headed case, under moulded open-pediment wood hood on scrolled and fluted consoles, and moulded pilasters; flanked by C20 shop windows, to left with door. Parallel rear range, with exposed C17 timber-frame, with rendered panels, and early C19, 6/6 sash. To left, stucco lean-to with C20 round-headed light, jettied over tripartite sash. INTERIOR: C18 dogleg staircase with turned balusters; stick balusters to 2nd floor. 2nd floor: exposed post, wall plate and purlins; C19 fireplace in corner stack; C18 plank door with H-hinges. 1st floor: jowelled post with massive mutilated tie-beam and principal rafter; 6- and 4-panel doors; exposed C18 timber-framing; C20 wood fire surround; exposed English bond brickwork; exposed ceiling beams; exposed C17 box framing, with C18 studwork; C19 wood fireplace. Ground floor: C17 exposed timber-frame with chamfered ceiling beams and posts; plank door. Cellar: stone-lined.
