Includes: No.2 MARKET STREET. Two shops. Mid C18 and c1800. Brick with stucco dressings; tile roofs. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 4-window range with 3-storey, single-window, later range to left. Stucco ground floor to both ranges. Top platt band and parapet. Ground floor has round-headed entrance to right end with blind fanlight with thick glazing bars over 6-fielded-panel door; to left a late C20 shop front with 3 windows under cornice with open pediment, extending over later range. 1st and 2nd floor windows have sills, and rusticated wedge lintels with keys over 12-pane sashes to 1st floor, 6-pane sashes to 2nd floor. End stacks. Later range has brick modillioned cornice and hipped roof; windows with sills, and rusticated wedge lintels over plate glass horned sash to 1st floor, 4/8-pane sash to 2nd floor. Return similar: 3-window range; central entrance to shop front; 1st floor windows with 16-pane sashes, 2nd floor windows with two 4/8-pane sashes and one 9-pane sash.
