House. Mid and late C17 and late C18/early C19 with C18, C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Coursed squared limestone to front range and front of stable block to left; coursed squared limestone rubble elsewhere; remains of old render on mid C17 range. Stone slate roofs; C19 brick left- and right-end stacks to front range; similar brick left-end stack to C17 wing to left; large axial stack on gable to rear of mid C17 block; three C20 rubble stacks to rear and on stable block to left. House is mid C17 block with late C17 wing to left and late C18/early C19 front range; C18/C19 wings and stable block to rear and left. Front range is 2-storey 3-window. Three 8/8-pane sashes in plain reveals with stone cills to first floor; two similar 2/2- 6/6- 2/2-pane triple sashes to ground floor. Central 6-panel door with decorative fanlight; Doric porch. Flush quoins to left and right angles. Late C17 wing to left is 2-storey 2-window range; one 2- and one 3-light timber casement with glazing bars under exposed timber lintels with stone cills to first floor; 2 similar 3-light windows to ground floor. Left return facade has one 2-light chamfered stone-mullion window with leaded lights under hoodmould to first floor. Flush quoins to left angle. Stable block to far left has two 2-light timber casements with glazing bars to first floor; two similar 2-light casements and one pair and one single sliding plank doors all in segmental-headed openings to ground floor. Stone external stair to first floor to left. Mid C17 block to rear has one 4-light hollow-chamfered stone-mullion window with leaded lights under hoodmould with relieving arch to ground floor right return facade; 3-light timber casements with glazing bars in similar surrounds without hoodmoulds to first and second floors above. Rear elevation has one 2-light hollow-chamfered stone-mullion window with leaded lights to each of ground and first floors. INTERIOR not inspected.
