House. Early and mid C19. Coursed squared limestone; stone
slate roof; 4 pairs of diagonally-placed ashlar flues with
moulded tops on ridge and at left and right ends.
Main house to left, mid C19, has one large and one small gable
to front; lower earlier C19 wing to right has 2 small gables
to front; all in revived Cotswold vernacular style.
Main house to left is single storey and attic; 2-window range.
Ground floor has two 3-light chamfered stone-mullion windows
with iron casements under hoodmoulds; 2 similar windows in
gables above. C19 plank door with decorative ironwork in
chamfered stone surround under hoodmould to centre. Gable to
left breaks forward; single light window in chamfered stone
surround to ground floor in depth of break to right side.
Relieving arches over all but latter opening. Coping on left
gable ends in trefoil stop at apex. Extending to left is a
coursed limestone rubble wall with lean-to shed behind.
Wing to right is single storey and attic; one-window range.
Ground floor has one 3-light chamfered stone-mullion window
with leaded lights; similar 2- and similar 3-light window in
small gables above. Plank door in chamfered stone surround to
left is divided by applied moulding into 3 panels with border.
Shallow stone plinth. This range continues beyond gate and
screen to Cirencester Park (qv) as No.31 Cecily Hill (qv).
