Terrace of 3 dwellings, shopfront inserted into No.6 late C19, now all residential. Nos 5-6 c1828, No.4 mid C19. Stucco and render grooved as ashlar over brick, roofs and stacks concealed behind moulded parapet. No.4 abutting The Iron Duke (not included) and No.6 returned to Lower Market Street. 4 storeys over basement, all with moulded cornices and flat strings, No.4 with full-height canted bay, sash windows with 1 vertical glazing bar, cast-iron balcony to first floor window, entrance to left of bay window, rectangular fanlight over C20 door; Nos 5-6 bow fronted, 3-window frontages, sash windows with mixed glazing bar patterns, No.5 with French casements to first floor, continuous cast-iron balcony, curved to No.5 and straight to No.6, the latter resting on flat-roofed Ionic porch with moulded entablature, door blocked, inserted 3-light arched head bay with 1 bay returns to left (former shopfront); entrance to No.5 with panelled reveals and panelled door. Cast-iron railings returned from entrances along street frontage.
