GV II
2 town houses, possibly originally 1 house. Late C18/early C19. Render on rubble front with string at 1st-floor meeting rail level; steep asbestos slate roof with projecting front eaves over moulded cornice; brick stack on left. Shallow-depth plan plus rear wing on left. 3 storeys; 3-window range (2nd floor). Blocked window to 2nd-floor left and early C19 sixteen-pane hornless sashes; 2 early/mid C19 twelve-pane sashes to 1st floor; left-hand window over pair of C20 copy sashes, other window over single 4-pane horned sash; 2 doorways including central ope (through-passage) doorway between windows; another doorway at far left; C20 doors. To 2nd floor towards left is incised stone possibly from the former Glasney College (qv) with inscription of the Lord's Prayer. INTERIOR: in 1980 had many C18 features including 2-panel doors and presumably retains C18 pegged roof structure. (The Penryn Survey Group: 1980-1990).
