GV II
House, now office and shop. c1790. Brick with ashlar dressings; parapeted double-gable roof with coped gables and brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Plinth and top cornice with blocking course. Entrance has doorcase with architrave, panelled pilasters and consoled cornice, segmental fanlight with radial glazing bars over 6-fielded-panel door; flanking inset boot scrapers. Windows have sills, and rubbed brick flat arches over 12-pane sashes, 6-pane sashes to 2nd floor. Rear similar, with kneelers to gables and ground floor lean-to addition. INTERIOR: window shutters; room to right has rich cornice.
