Town house now shop, restaurant and office. C16 or early C17 with later alterations. Timber-frame with plaster infill; tile roof with brick rear stacks. 3-unit and cross-wing plan. 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Cross wing to left end, to left of carriage entrance. Late C19 shop front to right end has paired glazed doors with plate glass window to left, flanking canted oriels with leaded upper lights, and entrance with glazed door to right end, all under tile pentice; entrance to left of shop front has architrave, frieze and cornice, overlight with margin lights to half-glazed door. Wing has ground floor lean-to projection with segmental-headed entrance with studded wide-board door to right of large 3-light shop window. 1st floor has 2 windows with 3-light casements, one leaded, one small-paned, both flanked by smaller 2-light leaded windows, probably original; wing has similar 3-light oriel with small 2-light flanking windows. Attic has 3 hipped dormers with 2-light leaded casements. C18 rainwater head to left end. Rear has gabled wings. INTERIOR: No.12 (Bobby Brown's Restaurant) has exposed framing and framed fireplace.
