Pair of handed houses, early C19. Red Flemish-bond brickwork with slate hipped roof (No.16 now has C20 concrete pantiles). Three storeys with cellars, Second floor of No.15 has a recessed C20 square double-hung sash windows with small panes. No.16 has a late C20 or early C21 multi-pane fixed light, top-opening window. String band of one course of brickwork below second floor sills. First floor has two double-hung sash windows with small panes under segmental brick arched heads. Broad brick string band above ground floor which has two similar double-hung sash windows, but each with two vertical glazing bars and two entrance doors. These have plain raised surrounds, simple hoods, panelled reveals and rectangular fanlights (that to No.16 has lozenge pattern glazing bars). This pair of houses is of one build with No.17 (qv) and the doorcases of Nos 16 & 17 are linked. Large stack on party wall and through front roof slope.
