GV II
Flats formerly 2 or 3 houses. Early C19. Of brick with roofs invisible behind high parapets. 3 storeys with large C20 flat-roofed extension and external staircase on rear. EXTERIOR: front of south-eastern part (Nos 18, 18A, 19 & 19A) of red Flemish bond with high plain parapet and raised string bands between ground- and first-floor. 3-window range of double-hung sashes with small panes under slightly curved rubbed brick arches. Centre windows are narrower. Ground floor has 2 doors, that to No.18 with semicircular rubbed brick arch and rendered impost blocks. Door has 6 flush panels and Adamesque fanlight over. 3 stone steps with simple iron handrails. Door of No.19 has flat hood and narrow panelled pilasters and frieze with upcurved ends. Door is recessed of 6 flat panels, the upper 2 glazed. 4 steps with iron handrail on baluster-like supports. Front and north-west flank of Nos 20 & 20A are rendered and former has 2-window range of unequal size C20 double-hung sash windows with small panes. Plain opening to access passage on flank. INTERIOR: all C20.
