- II
Shown on O.S. map as The Grove. House. Early C19. Red brick with slate roof. 3 storeys. Plinth and dentil brick eaves cornice. Integral brick end stacks. 3 bays, 16- pane glazing bar sashes with painted stone cills and lintels. 2 steps up to central probably C20 door with 6 raised and fielded panels (top 2 panels glazed), radial fanlight, and doorcase consisting of pilaster strips with moulded capitals, impost band, and large shaped brackets supporting moulded cornice. 2-bay left-hand return front. One storey wing at rear with integral brick end stack. C20 rear addition too. Interior not inspected but panelled window shutters noted.
