8/80 War Memorial


GV II

War memorial cross. c1920. Stone. An octagonal 3 stepped plinth supports
square pedestal, which tapers slightly towards the top. From this projects
the shaft, square at base, then octagonal, which is surmounted by a cross
with a circle joining the arms. On the pedestal are inscribed the names of
fallen in both World Wars and an inscription. The whole is c3m high.
