House. 1926 by Westwood and Joseph Emberton for Mrs Anderson. Roughcast with cedar shingled roof. Tall projecting chimmney to front left. 1½ storeys to left, one storey with attic to centre, 2 storey, half hipped return bay toright. Attic under bowed semi-dormers either side of chimmney and to centre, Metal casement windows throughout, 3 across the ground: 1 to right and 2 to left. Sun lounge entrance in catslide extension to extreme left with central door in circular glazed surround. Central battered porch with parapet dropped in centre with concave, quadrant walls to centre entrance bay. Panelled door. Extended to left in mid C20 in similar style. Interior: Oval hall with dado panelling, panelled ataircase with inbuilt balusters rising around the door to a first floor gallery. Art Deco light fittings survive. JOSEPH EMBERTON by Rosemary Ind.
