II
House. Late C17, earlier C18, and early C19. Ashlar and coursed rubble stone with stone dressings and Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone rear and end stacks, that to right truncated. 3 ranges, L plan, wings projecting to right and rear. Main range of 2 storeys of 2 6/6 sash windows in moulded stone frames with tripartite keystones. On ground floor similar sash to left and doorway to right, both with similar frames. 6-panelled door and overlight. Doorway up flight of steps with wrought iron balustrade. 2 storey outbuilding wing to right with doors and casements. Early C19 wing to rear, facing left. 2 storeys of wooden mullion and transom windows and central door with fanlight. V.C.H., Vol.V.
