Public House with shop to right. C17 to left, refronted in early C18, extended to
right in late C18; altered in C19. Timber framed core, clad in incised, colour-
washed render below to left, brown brick above, painted and rubbed brick to right.
Machine tiled roofs. Two storeys and attics to left under 2 gabled, glazing bar
sash window dormers. Large multiple stack to end left, smaller truncated stack at
junction of two ranges, further ridge stack to right. 2 cambered head, tripartite
glazing bar sash windows to first floor left under gauged brick heads, 2 sashes
with margin lights to first floor right. Two ground floor, tripartite sashes to
left, shop window to ground floor right, angle bay window to end right. Half-glazed
door to centre left under dentilled open pediment with scroll corbels. Half-glazed
door to centre right in reeded surround and under a flat hood.
