517/4/206 THE STREET 28-NOV-85 (East side) Clandon Regis
II House. 1890 by Ernest George in Neo-Renaissance style. Red brick with hipped plain tiled roofs. Half-H shaped plan, Two storeys with deep bracket eaves; ridge stacks to end wings and across centre. Garden front: Symmetrical, with louvred ovals in end outer pediments. Two glazing, bar sash windows to each floor of projecting end wings under gauged brick heads. 3 windows across recessed centre. Central arched door surround with transome light over panelled door. Entrance front: Irregular glazing bar sash fenestration with arched staircase window. Door to ground floor right in moulded wood surround. Service wing projecting to right, square two storey range on end of main house under slate roof, with single storey wing projecting. Tall ridge stack to single storey range and square cupola clock to centre of roof.
