II*
Bridge. C13 with C18 and C20 extensions and alterations. Probably built by the Monks of Waverley Abbey.

Local sandstone rubble to centre arch with slabs forming voussoirs; sandstone ashlar to outer arches, with brick parapets. circa 3½ feet high above. The right hand abutment has been widened and pierced with a brick-lined arch and shallow concrete channel. The upstream cutwaters are "Keeled" ie. pointed at both ends with chamfered tops, keeled with pyramidal tops to downstream side. One of a series of bridges built between Farnham and Guildford by the Monks with important historical associations. Scheduled Ancient Monument: Surrey Antiquity No. 30.
