BRADDEN THE LANE SP6448 (South side) 12/60 House now used as farm building approx. 30m W of Bradden Lodge Farm Cottage

House, now used as farm building. Dated 1683. Coursed squared limestone, corrugated iron roof, brick ridge stack, stone end stack with original diagonal brick flues. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. 4-panel door to right of centre with timber lintel. Small 2-light chamfered wood mullion window to right. Another door further right with 6-panel door in moulded wood surround with timber lintel. 2-light casement window to far right with H-hinges and timber lintel; 3-light casement to left of centre. A 3-light wood mullion window to first floor left, similar smaller window, leaded, to first floor centre, and 2-light casements to first floor left and right of centre, flanking datestone inscribed I/WD/AD/1683. Chamfered plinth, and stone-coped gable with kneelers to right; coping and kneelers of ironstone. Interior has open fireplaces with stop-chamfered bressumer, chamfered spine beams and stone-flagged floors.
