2. Early C18 brown brick, red dressings, tile roofs. 1 storey long wings on either side of small 2 storey central block. Centre block, parapet and old tile roof. 2 windows. Central door and round-headed niche on 1st floor above tablet recording foundation of the almshouses by Sir John Woolaston in 1658 and their rebuilding to double the number by Edward Pauncefort in 1722. The almshouses themselves have each 1 window and door under an unsympathetic roof of modern tiles. All openings segment-headed. Graded partly for historical reasons and partly for the sake. of the central block.
Nos 13 to 37 (odd) form a group.
