5/49 Mercer's Cottage (Formerly Timbers) 16.5.75 II
House. C16 altered in C18. Timber framed, clad in brick to front on rendered brick plinth, brick infill to exposed frame on left hand return front. Plain tiled hipped roof with gablets. Two storeys with inserted corbelled stack to left of centre. Four leaded wood-framed windows on the first floor, three windows to ground floor. Ribbed door to left of centre leading to lobby entry. Left hand return front - jowled corner posts. Outshot to rear with small gable to right. Interior:- frame visible with good ceiling joists and deep fireplace.
