1/96 Rowly Lodge
II
Lodge. circa 1870's. Sandstone block with ironstone insets, blue and red brick quoins and dressings with plain-tiled roofs. T-plan. Two storeys with two diagonal stacks on cross ridge plinth to left hand wing. Gable to left end with scalloped and pierced bargeboards and pendant finial. Rusticated angle quoins. One lozenge and diamond tracery casement window to first floor of gable end to right in brick surrounds and under cambered heads. Projecting sills below on brackets. Two larger 3-light similar windows below. Entrance on left hand return front. Two light window with decorative tracery under eaves gable. Scalloped bargeboards above. Two single light ground floor windows, one either side of central door in gabled open porch with braced entrance and scalloped wavelike bargeboards. Pentice set back to left with one window on each floor.
