GV II
House. C16 with C17 and C19 extensions to right, left and rear. Timber framed with brown and red brick cladding to ends, rendered cladding to ground floor centre; tile hung above. Plain tiled roofs, stepping up to right. I shape plan with gable front cross wings to ends. 2 storeys with stone plinth to left end, plat bands over ground floor of gable end bays and end ridge stacks. Tall multiple ridge stack to right of centre. 3-light wooden framed diamond pane leaded window on each floor of left hand gable, two windows across first floor centre; one 3-light wooden framed leaded casement on each floor of right hand gable bay. Planked door to left of centre. Left hand return front: Tall projecting gabled entrance porch rising through two storeys with chamfered corners. Ribbed door to centre of ground floor. Right hand return front:- Framing exposed. Parallel range across rear. C18 brick barn to right attached to main house by single storey screen passage with Tudor style arched entrance to courtyard. Barn with plain tiled half hipped roof. Irregular diamond pane leaded casement fenestration; two windows on each floor. Doubled planked doors to ground floor.
Interior:- Substantial amounts of timber frame visible, some panelling to upstairs rooms.
